Our 2022 Annual Conference

The 2022 International Conference on Discourse, Language and Literature will take place virtually on September 30, 2022.  The Annual Conference is our flagship event and brings together hundreds of academic and professional experts to present the latest developments in their real-world applications. The aim of the conference is to offer opportunities to share your ideas, to discuss theoretical and practical issues and to connect with the leaders in the fields of languages and literature.

Each year, ICDLL attracts participants from all over the world. Our Program Development team draws on this diversity to craft a rich and distinctive blended conference experience, with session types and programming explicitly designed to make the most of both online and place-based social knowledge processes.

Reviewing Guidelines
You can now submit for ICDLL 2022. All authors, chairs and panel organisers need to create a user account on EasyChair.

Please click below to submit.

All manuscripts sent for publication in our conferences are strictly and thoroughly peer-reviewed by experts (this includes research and review articles, spontaneous submissions, and invited papers). We ask authors for adequate revisions (with the second round of peer-review if necessary) before a final decision is made.

The deadline for submissions is July 31, 2022.
The final decision is made by the academic editor.
Why attend ICDLL
Academic Quality
We strive to curate an excellent academic programme of plenary and featured sessions, topical panels, workshops and forums, but the heart of any academic conference is, of course, the parallel sessions during which the majority of delegates present their papers, then engage in discussion and receive feedback from their peers.
The responses indicate that consistent high standards are maintained during this part of our conferences. 92% of respondents to the feedback surveys said they were satisfied with the academic quality of the conferences and 90% with the overall quality of the parallel sessions.

The Parliament
The UK Parliament has two Houses that work on behalf of UK citizens to check and challenge the work of Government,
make and shape effective laws, and debate/make decisions on the big issues of the day.
Big Ben
The tower is a British cultural icon recognised all over the world. It is one of the most prominent symbols of the United Kingdom
and parliamentary democracy, and it is often used in the establishing shot of films set in London.
The London Eye
It is Europe's tallest cantilevered observation wheel, and is the most popular paid tourist attraction
in the United Kingdom with over 3 million visitors annually
Tower Bridge
Tower Bridge is a Grade I listed combined bascule and suspension bridge in London,
built between 1886 and 1894, designed by Horace Jones and engineered by John Wolfe Barry.
Buckingham Palace
Buckingham Palace is the London residence and administrative headquarters of the monarch of the United Kingdom.
It has been a focal point for the British people at times of national rejoicing and mourning.
River Thames
The River Thames is a river that flows through southern England including London. At 215 miles (346 km),
it is the longest river entirely in England and the second-longest in the United Kingdom, after the River Severn.
